This year, OSA is working on making a telescope.
We are making a Ritchey-Chrétien telescope, which is a type of Cassagrain
telescope that has two hyperbolic mirrors. The one that we are making will
have a sixteen inch diameter primary mirror. This project involves both optical
engineers and mechanical engineers. Currently, we are in the process of designing
the telescope. In future years, other groups of students will work to modify
the telescope. If you have any questions about the project email urosa@gmail.com
