Amber, a graduate student in Prof. Tom Brown's group has been selected as a 2009 Emil Wolf Outstanding Student Paper Competition winner! As a winner, she is entitled to a $300 USD stipend as well as a complimentary one-year OSA student membership. Her award-winning paper was on "Polarimetry Using Stress-Engineered Optical Elements".
