Amber Beckley wins Emil Wolf Outstanding Student Paper Competition

Amber, a graduate student in Prof. Tom Brown's group has been selected as a 2009 Emil Wolf Outstanding Student Paper Competition winner!
As a winner, she is entitled to a $300 USD stipend as well as a complimentary one-year OSA student membership. Her award-winning paper was on "Polarimetry Using Stress-Engineered Optical Elements".
On behalf of Optics Communications published by Elsevier, the OSA Foundation, the University of Rochester Physics Department, the Institute of Optics and FiO congratulations to Amber on being selected as a competition winner.
