Group Member Mohammad Mirhosseini Wins Newport Student Award

Group member Mohammad Mirhosseini has been awarded the Newport Student Award for outstanding academic performance.

The award, supported by the Newport company, is given by the University of Rochester Institute of Optics to one PhD students each year recognizing their outstanding academic performance, with emphasis on performance in course work and the institute's PhD preliminary examination. The prize includes 1000 dollars worth of research credit for buying scientific equipments produced by the Newport company.
