5th Nano-Optics Adirondacks
Workshop October 23-26 2008
For the fifth
year in a row, the Nano-Optics group was hosting a workshop
in the Adirondacks to discuss the current state, latest
accomplishments, and future directions of nano-optics. This
year, the workshop featured again several international
speakers from Brazil, Germany, and Russia as well as presentation
by a medical doctor about nanoparticles in dermatology.

Workshop September 27-30 2007
The Nano-optics
group hosted their fourth workshop in the Adirondacks to
discuss the current state, latest accomplishments, and future
directions of nano-optics. The workshop featured again several
international speakers and with the fall weather being extremely
mild, provided the participants with a spectacular performance
of Prof. Novotny and guest speaker Prof. Carney to create

Third Nano-Optics Adirondacks
Workshop September 28-30 2006
The Nano-optics
group hosted their third workshop in the Adirondacks to
discuss the current state, latest accomplishments, and
future directions of nano-optics. The workshop featured
again several international speakers, but was held a month
earlier than the previous year, providing the participants
with the spectacular foliage display of the Adirondack

First Nano-Optics Adirondacks
Workshop November 4-6 2004
When nano-opticians get together to discuss
nanoscience and nanotechnology, while sipping scotch whiskey
in the middle of dark and unpopulated woods. Now featuring

a cabin near Star Lake in the Adirondack National Park in
October 17-19, 2003. See

The Nano-Optics 2001 Excursion
For 2001 we rented a cabin near
Indian Lake in the Adirondack National Park, which is a
very good way to spend a long weekend.
