8th Nano-Optics Adirondacks Workshop Sept. 15-18, 2011

The Nanooptics group hosted their eighth workshop in the Adirondacks to discuss the current state, latest accomplishments, and future directions of nano-optics. This year, the current Rochester Nanooptics group was joined by special guest Dieter Pohl and wife Inge. Dieter was Lukas' "Doktor-Vater" at IBM Rüschlikon, while he was completing his PhD at ETH.

Hike Black Bear Mountain - most of us did
Sail the sunfish -some of us did
Capsize the canoe- Mike wasn't with us this year
Jump in the lake- a few brave of us did
Play some music and/or fun games- a few of us did
Eat some really good food -we ALL did
Roast marshmallows on a camp fire- the mostly grown-up "kids" for sure did
