This is a gallery of some of our favorite images from the web site and

This shows an electron excited into a combination of the 2500 angular momentum states associated with the principal quantum number n = 50 Rydberg manifold in hydrogen. The electron wave function phase is shown with color, and the wave function amplitude is shown using saturation (brightness).
