Handbook of Laser Technology and Applications The Handbook of Laser Technology and Applications by CRC Press was first released in 2003
(click here),
and has been hugely successful and ranked as one of the top ten most referenced materials by the publisher.
However, it has been 14 years since its original release, and the handbook needs a major
revision as one of the CRC Handbooks. Currently, Professor Guo is the Editor-in-Chief of the
2nd edition of the Handbook.

2016 Light Conference
Professor Guo will chair the 2016 Light Conference. The Light Conference is associated with the journal of
Light: Science & Applications (LSA) by Nature .
Like LSA that has become one of the most influential journals
in optics (2014 Impact Factor = 14.603; only second to its sister journal Nature Photonics), the Light Conference
will provide a most visible platform for researches to exchange their latest findings in the field of optics.
